Just as at other congresses, a variety of cultural activiteswere also offered in Bremen. From Thursday through Saturday night thefilms “Pashke und Sophia” and “copy me -i want to travel” were shown in “Kino 46”- films that fit with our themes and an activity that the weathercouldn’t ruin. And despite Bremen’s weather, or“Schietwetter” (crappy weather) as we say, manywomen took part in feminist city tours of Bremen’s citycenter which took place on Friday and Saturday. During these tours, places that women shaped and places that are important for women inthis Hanseatic city were shown and described impressively.
After the opening plenum on Thursday, participants had anopportunity to enjoy a cozy drink in the “AllaHopp” commune. Following tradition, feminist theater wasscheduled for Friday after the many informative and fun congressevents. The theater group “Weideglück”from Oldenburg performed impressive, exciting and lively improvisation.Guests were asked again and again to yell out words - many of whichwere often related to the congress. These words were then acted out onstage sponaneously, playfully and hilariously. The (form of) applausethat Weideglück demanded from the audience to cheer them on isunforgettable. We won’t tell you what it was though - youhave to see it for yourself!
On Saturday, participants celebrated at the congress partywhich was organized by the group „FLOPS“ featuringa guitar concert by C. E. Kuper. New and veteran FiNuT women chattedwith each other, had fun and enjoyed cold drinks. The music andatmosphere inspired dancing long into the night.
