The 31st Congress of Women in Natural Sciences and Technical Professions took place in Bremen between May, 5th and 8th 2005. 250 women came together under the motto „Gezeitenwechsel“ (tidal changes), to discuss and develop new perspectives related to women in natural sciences and engineering. The congress was organised by women from Bremen and Oldenburg, who worked mostly on honorary basis, and has been supported by various people and organisations.
